Black nuts, class 12.9

Black DIN 934 nuts — sizes and packs for assembly work

This group contains uncoated steel hexagon nuts described in the catalogue as “12.9”. The current range includes sizes M8, M10, M12, M14, M16, M18, M20, M24, M30, M36 and M42. Start choosing a variant with the thread designation and connection requirements in the machine or structural documentation.

How do you select thread diameter and pitch?

Compare the nut thread with the screw, threaded rod or stud thread. Descriptions in this category include M8 with a pitch of 1,25 mm, M10 with 1,5 mm, M12 with 1,75 mm and M24 with 3 mm. Matching diameter alone is insufficient. Also check pitch, thread direction and the parameters required for the specific connection.

Small pack or larger batch?

Nut size and piece count form a separate offer variant. For example, M8 comes in a pack of 25 pieces, M10 in packs of 10 and 500, and M12 in packs of 10 and 350 pieces. M24 has items containing 1 and 50 pieces, M30 has 1 and 20, and M42 has 1 and 5 pieces. Before ordering, compare the piece count on the selected page with workshop or production requirements.

Selection for machine assembly and servicing

When replacing nuts in machines, fixtures and structures, check material, surface finish and mechanical property requirements. A shop group designation does not replace manufacturer data or design documentation. If you need another design, compare other DIN 934 nuts and hexagon nuts.

Do M10 and M10×1 mean the same thread?
