Bearings

Types of bearings in our range

Ball bearings

The most commonly used bearing type, found in electric motors, gearboxes, industrial equipment and agricultural machinery. They offer low rolling resistance, long service life and versatile applications.

Tapered roller bearings

Designed to accommodate radial and axial loads simultaneously. Applications include wheel hubs, gearboxes, construction machinery and agricultural machinery.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Designed for high radial loads. Used in gearboxes, machine tools and industrial equipment requiring high load capacity.

Spherical roller bearings

Ideal for demanding operating conditions. Their self-aligning capability compensates for misalignment between the shaft and housing, making them a common choice in heavy industry.

Needle roller bearings

A compact design and high load capacity within small dimensions make needle roller bearings popular in gearboxes, machines and equipment with limited installation space.

Self-aligning bearings

Their special design compensates for shaft alignment errors, ensuring reliable operation even when misalignment is present.

Plain bearings

Used wherever resistance to high loads and demanding operating conditions is required. Applications include industrial machinery, agricultural equipment and hydraulic systems.

How to select the right bearing?

When choosing a bearing, pay attention to several key parameters:

• inside diameter (d),
• outside diameter (D),
• bearing width (B),
• type of load to be carried,
• rotational speed,
• operating conditions and ambient temperature,
• required operating clearance and accuracy class.

For designations such as 6000, 6200, 6300, 30205 or 22208, check the bearing dimensions table and the product's technical specifications. This helps you select a suitable replacement or a component that complies with the machine manufacturer's documentation.

Bearing designations and selecting a replacement

The full bearing designation helps identify its type, dimensions and design. When searching for a component, copy the code together with all additional letters and digits and the manufacturer's name. Supplementary designations may indicate features such as construction, cage, precision or internal clearance. Check their meaning in the documentation for the relevant brand, as manufacturers' designation systems may differ.

When selecting a replacement bearing for a machine, compare the complete specification with the equipment requirements. Matching dimensions alone do not confirm that the design is compatible. Have the existing component's designation, a photo of the packaging or ring and information about its application ready.

Housings, bearing units and machine accessories

This department also includes SNH split bearing housings, self-aligning bearing units and bearing accessories. If you are putting together motion guidance components, also see linear motion components. When selecting a specific part, consider its mounting method and the components it works with.

Bearings — questions and answers

How can I find a bearing by its designation?

Enter the full code in the shop's search box, then compare the manufacturer, dimensions and design on the product page. Include the suffix letters and digits — they may distinguish variants within the same series.

What should I do if the bearing code is unreadable?

Have photos, the inside and outside diameters and the width or height of the assembly ready, as appropriate to its design. Add the machine model and information from the equipment documentation. These details help start the selection process.

Are bearings with identical dimensions interchangeable?

Not always. In addition to dimensions, compare the bearing type and required design. Replacement compatibility must be confirmed using the manufacturer's documentation and the machine's operating conditions.

Where can I find a bearing with its housing?

Go to the bearing units subcategory. If you only need a housing, check the separate housing section. Before choosing, establish whether you need a complete unit or an individual component.
