ISO 7380

ISO 7380 screws with pre-applied nylon treatment have a low, rounded head with a hexagon socket. The NERON Piła category leads to the 267-28 KLF variant. When choosing, compare head dimensions, thread, length and parameters of the locking treatment applied to the thread.

Rounded-head screws ISO 7380 with nylon

A low head profile matters in connections with limited space above the fixed component. The hexagon socket requires access with a suitable hex key. Check the part drawing before choosing, since similar appearance does not mean dimensional compatibility with other socket screws.

Pre-applied nylon treatment 267-28 KLF

In this group you will find the nylon variant 267-28 KLF. The treatment increases mechanical rotational resistance in the connection. Its position on the thread must match the section engaging the nut or threaded hole. Confirm operating temperature and reuse rules in the documentation of the specific design.

What data should be compared before installation?

Thread and length: diameter, pitch, overall length according to the drawing and threaded section.
Head dimensions: its diameter, height and bearing surface.
Drive: hex key size and tool access at the installation location.
Screw properties: material, class, coating and permissible load of the design.
Pre-applied treatment: locking type, position and installation conditions.

Low-head geometry must be considered when assessing screw suitability. Do not automatically transfer installation parameters from another screw type of the same diameter. Nylon insertion resistance must also be included in the tightening procedure.

Questions about ISO 7380 with pre-applied treatment

How does the flanged design differ?

The flange changes bearing surface and head dimensions. This design is listed separately in the category ISO 7380-2 with pre-applied treatment.

Does nylon replace correct tightening?

No. Thread locking does not replace the required clamping force or correct screw selection.

What should an enquiry to NERON in Piła include?

State screw designation, thread diameter and pitch, length, material, class, required KLF variant and number of pieces. Other geometries are in the section for screws with pre-applied thread treatment.
