Design and selection

Select diameter, thread pitch and joint requirements for the application. Related standard designations are catalogue references for the family and do not declare identical requirements across the individual standards or constitute a batch test result.

When assembling stainless steel, consider the risk of galling between mating threads. Select an anti-seize or lubricating agent suited to the joint conditions.
