The helmet with a large-viewing-area auto-darkening filter is intended to protect the face and eyes from sparks, spatter and harmful radiation during welding and grinding. It is especially recommended for low-current welding, such as precision TIG welding. The automatic darkening filter of the highest optical class changes from light to dark when the arc is struck and returns to the light state after welding ends. The filter has 4 photosensors. It offers 2 modes: welding and grinding. Filter sensitivity to the welding arc is continuously adjustable using a knob on the helmet shell. The dark-to-light switching delay can be adjusted by selecting one of 3 filter response times.
