Optibelt SUPER TX V-belts are used in machine construction as power-transmission components. They are used particularly with small pulley diameters, high temperatures and high rotational speeds. The belt cogging reduces bending stress and provides greater flexibility compared with standard wrapped belts. These belts are made from a polychloroprene rubber compound with fibres arranged transversely to the running direction, effectively supporting the tension member.
