A classical V-belt is intended for power transmission in drives of industrial machines and equipment, as well as various agricultural, construction, mining and other machines. Belts in this group are intended for operation at peripheral speeds not exceeding 30 m/s. They can be used in heavy-duty drives. They are primarily used as replacements in mechanical engineering. In mechanical engineering, they are used in special drives, such as V-flat drives. Special versions of classical V-belts solve problems in designing demanding drives for garden equipment and agricultural machines.
