Characteristics of manually operated mechanical valves 3/2, 4/3, 5/2 and 5/3, Airtac

  • Airtac manually operated mechanical valves 5/3 3/2, 4/3, 5/2 and 5/3 belong to the group of pneumatic components for controlling the direction of compressed air flow in pneumatic systems
  • Valves with 4/3 and 5/3 functions allow a pneumatic cylinder to be stopped at any point in its stroke
  • Centre position variants: closed centre, pressurised centre, exhausted centre
  • Actuation variants: lever and lever with lock, plunger, slider
  • Directional control valves 5/2/ 4/3 and 5/3 are used to control double-acting pneumatic cylinders
  • Directional control valves 3/2/ are used to control single-acting cylinders
  • Airtac manual valves do not require initial pressure to operate (operation from a pressure of 0 bar)
  • The valves can be installed in operator panels or directly in machines and equipment
  • We recommend installing silencers in the exhaust ports marked "5" and "3" to protect the directional valve against external contamination
