LOCTITE 648 is a low-viscosity, high-strength retaining compound typically used to secure gears on gearbox shafts and rotors on electric motor shafts.
LOCTITE® 648 is a green, fluorescent, low-viscosity, high-strength anaerobic retaining compound based on urethane methacrylate resin, used to bond cylindrical fitting parts. It prevents loosening and leaks caused by impacts and shocks. Typical applications include securing gears on gearbox shafts and rotors on electric motor shafts. It exhibits remarkably fast curing.

  • High-temperature resistance
  • High strength on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel)
