Taper Lock 3535 bushing installation guidance
- Before starting work, stop the drive, disconnect the power supply and secure the machine against starting.
- Check compatibility of type 3535, the bush bore with the shaft diameter, and the keyed connection requirements. Clean the mating surfaces; do not install on a damaged shaft.
- Fit the bush and pulley and install the screws in the mounting holes in the sequence specified in the instructions supplied with the Hubber bush.
- Use a torque wrench and the torque specified by the manufacturer of the particular bush. If you do not have this value, obtain it before installation; do not tighten by feel.
- Check pulley alignment, belt tension and guards according to the machine documentation. Remove the bush according to its instructions, without uncontrolled impacts or excessive force.
