Taper Lock 1008 bushing installation guidance

1. Before starting work, stop the drive, disconnect the power supply and secure the machine against starting.
2. Check compatibility of type 1008, the bush bore with the shaft diameter, and the keyed connection requirements. Clean the mating surfaces; do not install on a damaged shaft.
3. Fit the bush and pulley and install the screws in the mounting holes in the sequence specified in the instructions supplied with the Hubber bush.
4. Use a torque wrench and the torque specified by the manufacturer of the particular bush. If you do not have this value, obtain it before installation; do not tighten by feel.
5. Check pulley alignment, belt tension and guards according to the machine documentation. Remove the bush according to its instructions, without uncontrolled impacts or excessive force.
