Selection and installation

For size 6,4 × 12 mm, the recommended grip range is 4,5–6 mm. The clearance hole diameter must be confirmed before installation — the relevant technical sheet does not specify it for diameter 6,4 mm. Select a tool and nosepiece suitable for rivets with stainless steel mandrels.

The nominal diameter of 6,4 mm is marked with an asterisk in the technical sheet as a dimension not included in the standard. No unconfirmed hole diameter has been assigned to it.
