Threaded plugs DIN 908 are used to close manufacturing openings, oil passages and ports in machine components. The cylindrical thread allows secure seating, the flange provides a clamping surface, and the internal hexagon socket permits installation with a hex key.

Selection of the seal and tightening torque depends on the medium, pressure, temperature and body material.
