TCF - Textolite

A laminate belonging to the group of layered materials produced by pressing several layers of cotton fabric impregnated with phenolic resin at elevated temperature. Among commonly used engineering plastics, textolite semi-finished products stand out for their high resistance to mechanical and thermal loads.

Properties: operation in oil and air, high rigidity and hardness, high abrasion resistance, very good machinability, good thermal properties - continuous operation at temperatures up to +125˚C.

Example applications: conveyor rollers, guide wheels, tensioner rollers, pulleys and sprockets, drive and idler wheels, spacer bushes, mechanical seal components and die-cutting boards.
