Solid round aluminium bar Ø 50 - 100 mm
Solid round aluminium bar Ø 50 mm × 100 mm
The price includes one 100 mm-long section of solid bar with a nominal diameter of 50 mm. The bar has an unfinished aluminium surface. You can use it whole or cut it into shorter blanks.
Technical specifications
| Material | Unfinished aluminium |
|---|---|
| Cross-section | Solid, circular |
| Nominal diameter d | 50 mm |
| Section length L | 100 mm (0,1 m) |
| Length cutting tolerance | ±2 mm |
| Sales unit | 1 section |
| Theoretical section mass | 0,530 kg |
Mass was calculated from nominal dimensions using an aluminium density of 2700 kg/m³. Actual section mass may differ slightly.
Drawing and dimensional symbols

d = 50 mm denotes the outside diameter of the solid bar, measured across opposing edges of its circular end face. L = 100 mm denotes the length between the end faces. The ±2 mm tolerance applies to cut length.
Material and surface
The bar is offered unfinished, without an additional decorative finish. The surface is not brushed, polished, anodised or painted. The main photo illustrates the material's appearance.
Applications and selection for machining
The Ø 50 mm bar can be used as a blank for turning spacers or making bushes after drilling a hole. When planning several parts from one section, allow for kerf width and end-facing allowance.
Preparation and cutting
The length cutting tolerance is ±2 mm. Buying one piece means one section of length 100 mm. Buying several pieces means separate sections of the ordered length.

Delivery of the 100 mm section
Transport availability is affected by the packed bar's length and total shipment mass. Check delivery methods and costs in the basket for your address and selected number of pieces.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What will I receive when ordering three pieces?
Three separate sections, each 100 mm long. If you need one longer bar, check the available lengths beside the price.
Can this bar be turned into a part with a finished diameter of 50 mm?
Ø 50 mm is the nominal dimension before machining. Turning the outer surface reduces the diameter. If the finished part must be exactly 50 mm, select material with an allowance suitable for turning and the required tolerance.
Will the bar have a brushed surface?
The bar has a natural, unfinished surface. If a decorative brushed effect is required, this treatment must be planned separately.
What if the drawing requires a specific aluminium grade?
Before ordering, send the grade designation and required temper. We will confirm whether the material currently available meets these requirements.
Will I receive a section exactly 100 mm long?
100 mm is the nominal length. With the stated cutting tolerance ±2 mm, section length can range from 98 to 102 mm. If you need a narrower tolerance, agree it before purchase.
