Copper-phosphorus brazing alloy to DIN EN 1044-CP203 (L-CuP6), melting temperature range 710 – 880ºC, working temperature 760ºC, used for brazing copper to copper without flux. Use HS paste when brazing copper alloys. Usually used for brazing copper fittings in hot and cold water and central heating installations. The alloy is also used for brazing copper downpipes in copper gutter systems. The brazing alloy contains no iron or nickel and is therefore used in the electrical industry in equipment where the working temperature does not exceed 150ºC.
