BLUE LINE filter applications

BLUE LINE compressed air filters are air preparation components used in pneumatic systems across all industries. Their purpose is to achieve the appropriate cleanliness of the working medium required for correct operation of pneumatic components. Compressed air filters operate by removing solid contaminants through the filter element and liquid water (by causing the airflow to swirl using a flow guide). BLUE LINE compressed air filters remove oil droplets from compressed air to a limited extent. Separated condensate collects in the compressed air filter bowl and can be drained semi-automatically or manually. Suitable working-medium quality, free of solid contaminants and liquid water, increases the service life of pneumatic components and reduces the likelihood of corrosion. Different filter elements installed in BLUE LINE filters allow an air purity class appropriate for the particular pneumatically driven device to be achieved.
