Pulley SPA 63/1 for Taper Lock 1008 — Optibelt/Desch

The offer includes only the pulley itself. The Taper Lock bushing is not included; it is purchased separately.

Single-groove SPA 63/1 pulley for an industrial belt drive, in a solid design with an empty seat for bushing 1008. Select the bushing to match the seat type and shaft diameter. Type 1008 alone does not specify the shaft bore diameter.

Rim width B and total axial length L are different dimensions. When selecting, check data for the specific variant in the table and bushing type compatibility with the pulley seat and shaft diameter.

Selection and applications

Select belt profile, datum diameter, number of grooves, ratio and drive load. The bushing must be type 1008 with a bore suitable for the shaft; also check the key connection design. NERON in Piła helps select power transmission components. Sold from 1 piece, fulfilment within 48 hours. The price is for one pulley without bushing.

Taper Lock 1008 installation tips

  1. Stop the drive and secure it against starting. Check the components and bushing compatibility with the pulley and shaft.
  2. Clean and degrease the tapered surfaces of the bushing and pulley, and the shaft. Match the half-holes. Prepare the screw threads according to the manufacturer's instructions; do not lubricate the taper.
  3. Seat the assembly on the shaft, check the key and pulley alignment. Tighten the screws evenly with a torque wrench.
  4. For the Optibelt 1008 bushing, the instructions specify two screws and 5,7 Nm torque. For a bushing from another manufacturer, check its instructions — do not transfer this value automatically.
  5. After brief operation, approx. 0,5–1 hours, stop and secure the drive, then check tightening. Check alignment and belt tension.
